Enterprise Specialist Training Programme (ESTP): Welcome

LEVEL 1 —
FULL-TIME INTENSIVE BOOTCAMP

3 Months

INDUSTRY PLACEMENT &

1 Week for Every 6 Months during Level 2 Training

In addition to our core curriculum, ESTP trainees will be enrolled in industry courses during their industry placement and real-world training phase — to be determined by the placement company that is the most relevant to each trainee’s job role. ESTP trainees will receive highly-acclaimed industry certifications if they pass the exams.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

WHO CAN APPLY FOR ESTP?

Fresh polytechnic and university (or equivalent) graduates and mid-careerists are eligible.

MUST I HAVE A CYBERSECURITY BACKGROUND TO APPLY FOR ESTP?

While a cybersecurity background is not essential to excel in ESTP, you must have an aptitude and passion for cybersecurity.

HOW WILL THE LEVEL 1 BOOTCAMP TRAINING BE CONDUCTED?

It will be conducted face-to-face on weekdays 9am to 6pm at the Red Alpha office.

IS ESTP A TRAINEESHIP OR A FULL-TIME JOB?

ESTP is a full-time employment position. Trainees will have to first complete a 3-month full-time bootcamp training during which they will receive a monthly study allowance. This is followed by a 3-year full-time position in a Red Alpha partner organisation during which they will receive a monthly salary that commensurates with their job roles, skills and experience.

WHEN DOES THE NEXT ESTP COHORT START?

Our next cohort is planned to start in April 2023.

ARE FOREIGNERS ELIGIBLE?

Currently, we are only accepting applications from Singaporeans and Singapore PRs for ESTP.

However, interested foreigners can join the ESTP bootcamp training at the fee of:

- S$66,000 — 3-month bootcamp with curriculum catered to individual’s aptitude; or 

- S$78,000 — 3-month bootcamp with curriculum catered to individual’s aptitude and 5 additional 1-week upskilling training every 6 months upon graduation.

I AM GOING TO ENLIST IN NATIONAL SERVICE (NS) AFTER GRADUATING FROM POLYTECHNIC. CAN I APPLY TO JOIN ESTP?

ESTP is a full-time programme and trainees must be committed for 3 years and 3 months. We welcome interested candidates to apply for ESTP after they have completed their NS.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT WANT TO CONTINUE ESTP IN BETWEEN THE 3 YEARS AND 3 MONTHS?

There will be a penalty imposed if you wish to leave during any period of ESTP.
